Q1: Are these electric or gas heaters?
The Madimack InverElite V4 range is comprised of premium electric pool heat pumps, not gas-powered heaters. They use inverter technology and draw electricity to heat the pool efficiently and sustainably.
Q2: How do I choose the right size model for my pool?
The right model depends on your pool’s volume (in litres), location, usage, and whether you use a pool cover. Refer to our “Recommended Pool Volumes” table above or contact us directly for custom sizing support.
Q3: What power connection is required?
Smaller models like the V4‑100 to V4‑140 use a 10A plug and standard 230V/1Ph household supply. Larger models (V4‑170 and up) require a dedicated hardwired electrical connection—some models use three-phase power. Always consult a licensed electrician for installation.
Q4: Can this heater be used year-round?
Yes. The InverElite V4 operates efficiently in a wide temperature range (‑20°C to 43°C), making it suitable for year-round use—even during winter in colder regions.
Q5: Is this heat pump suitable for commercial pools?
While this range is designed for residential pools, the larger models (V4‑330 and V4‑410) may be suitable for light commercial applications such as resorts or boutique accommodation. For large-scale commercial installations, please enquire about the InverMAC or Elite MAX commercial range.
Q6: Does it include Wi-Fi or smart controls?
Yes. The InverElite V4 series includes built-in Wi-Fi control via the Madimack app, allowing remote temperature adjustment, scheduling, and monitoring from your smartphone or tablet.
Q7: Is the unit noisy during operation?
No. These heat pumps use triple-layered acoustic insulation and a centrifugal fan system for ultra-quiet operation. Sound levels range from approximately 36–49 dB(A) depending on the model and load.
Q8: What refrigerant is used?
All models use R32 refrigerant, which is more environmentally friendly than older R410A gas and provides excellent thermal efficiency.
Q9: Is installation included?
Installation is not included in the product price, but we offer certified installation services in the Perth region. For customers outside WA, we can coordinate with a local licensed installer.
