Waterco’s Micron W & WD media filters are purpose-built deep-bed filters designed to treat the entire incoming water supply, delivering clear, conditioned water to every outlet. With a 600 mm media bed in Micron W and an extra-deep 1000 mm bed in Micron WD, these vessels provide enhanced in-depth filtration and higher dirt-holding capacity for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Their filament-wound fibreglass construction and 7 bar (700 kPa) pressure rating make them ideal for demanding water treatment duties where reliability and performance are critical.

Micron W & WD filters can be configured with different filtration media (such as 16/30 silica sand or Zeoplus® zeolite) to suit applications including whole-of-house filtration, tank and bore water treatment, iron and manganese reduction, water features and light industrial processes. A compatible multiport valve streamlines backwashing and rinsing, while hydraulically balanced internals support even flow distribution through the deep bed.
